This week in Netwatch Cullen Park, Carlow Credit Union was unveiled as the new sponsor of the 2025 Carlow Senior Football Leagues, the Bolger Senior Hurling Cup and the Bolger Shield.

This is a unique partnership involving the long established and community based Carlow Credit Union and Carlow GAA.

Speaking at the launch, Lee Mulhall, CCU Marketing and Business Development Officer, welcomed the partnership with Carlow GAA and looked forward to a great year ahead for the Carlow football leagues and the Bolger Cup & Shield. Former Carlow County footballer, Tom Cullen of CCU and Jim Bolger, Carlow GAA Chairperson, spoke of the excellent ‘fit’ that the Carlow Credit Union and Carlow GAA are, being two community based organisations with so much in common.

As part of the deal, the Credit Union will provide the winners of the Football League Division 1 with €500 worth of footballs and the Bolger Cup winners will receive €500 worth of hurling sliotars.

Carlow GAA looks forward to a mutually beneficial relationship with Carlow Credit Union and would like to thank them for their generous support.
