Carlow righted all their wrongs from their first meeting with NUI Galway tonight winning by 2-19 to 11 points. In the first competitive game in the newly christened Netwatch Carlow GAA Training Centre Marty Kavanagh led the way with his 11 pt haul as our lads outclassed the students. Carlow dominated from the off with Craig Wall goaling in the first half and Seamus Murphy putting the game to bed in the second with his clincher. Great performances all around leaves Pat English’s men in great stead for the semi-final to come in just over a week’s time.
