Hurling for Cancer

Carlow GAA are delighted to host Hurling for Cancer 2023 at Netwatch Cullen Park on Monday 21st August 6pm.
Join us as we welcome a galaxy of stars from the sporting and entertainment world for this massive occasion.
Some of Ireland’s top hurlers and jockeys have been confirmed for the must-see battle between the two teams with Wexford and Kilkenny legends Liam Griffin and Brian Cody acting as Bainisteoirs.

A who’s who of GAA, racing, sports and TV stars such as David and Paudie Clifford, Rachael Blackmore, Ursula Jacob, Paul McGrath, Miriam O’Callaghan, Michael Duignan, Kevin Manning, Willie McCreery, Sean O’Brien, Barry Geraghty, Marty Morrissey and Joanne O’Riordan are among those set to lend a hand as selectors, commentators, side-line officials, umpires and maor uisce.

Events get under way with a minis game at 5pm between Ballinkillen of Carlow and Round Towers of Kildare.
Gates open at 4pm. Tickets are available online or pay at the gate.
