Club Carlow, the official Carlow GAA Supporters Club, is currently organising a ‘Strictly Fun Dancing’ event in which representatives from clubs from throughout the county will compete to be crowned as ‘county champions’ for 2015.

The gala event will be held in the Dolmen Woodford Hotel, Carlow, on 28th March, 2015 and is being sponsored by Bolands of Carlow.

To date, participants from a large number of clubs, including Palatine, Eire Og, MLR, Clonmore, Erins Own, Tinryland, Leighlinbridge, St. Mullins, and Fenagh have been confirmed, and the dancers are currently being put through their paces in an intensive training regime. It is also anticipated that some additional competitors, including some high-profile figures from the county GAA scene, will be added to the roster in the near future- watch this space for further info.!

As well as being an important fund-raising event for the overall promotion of Carlow GAA, it will also serve as an enjoyable social occasion for our players, supporters and commercial sponsors, and we would encourage all members of the Carlow GAA-loving public fully support this event and generously sponsor the individual dancers if requested as it is all in a very good cause!

The official launch night for the Strictly Fun Dancing event will take place in Palatine GAA Clubhouse on Sunday 8th March at 8pm- all welcome to come along and meet the competitors.
