The ‘Barrowside Challenge’ is a brand new 50/50 Fundraiser between Carlow GAA and its Clubs.
On the June Bank Holiday Weekend 2021, over 60 participants will walk 5k to support both Club & County.
We are a small, dual GAA Unit but have shown that when Club & County work together we are a powerful force to be reckoned with !
Carlow GAA’s Chairperson Jim Bolger says; “Over the past 15 months Club and County alike have faced significant financial challenges. We have had little or no income as we were missing our loyal supporters coming through our gates for Club and County Games and in addition, we missed corporate support opportunities. Effectively we have been closed down. We are a proud dual County and we want to give our County players every support in their preparations for the 2021 season. This collaboration between Club and County can only have a positive impact on the upcoming season. All support is welcome as rising together will help us achieve more.”
