Another year has flown by and it’s time to look forward to that most special night for Carlow GAA, our 26th consecutive annual Awards. This year’s event will be hosted in conjunction with our sponsors Mount Wolseley Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort on Saturday the 16th of January at 7.30pm.

County players were to the fore in the early stages of the year, have any of them done enough to take a gong ?? A thrilling summer of Club action then ensued in which both Palatine and St. Mullins were victorious at Senior level, and the respective Intermediate and Junior titles were scooped by MLR, St. Patricks, O’Hanrahans and Grange alike. Some very exciting young players emerged throughout the Championships alongside some ‘old heads’ and we will await the results, as voted by the Clubs, to see who the various award winners are.

Special guest Micheál Ó’Muircheartaigh will be our special guest on the night which will be hosted by our MC Tommy Murphy. The occasion is always a glitzy, glamorous affair, (and that’s just the fellas !!!), but this 26th promises to be one of the best yet with Mount Wolseley pulling out all the stops for their sporting partners !
